A LITTLE ABOUT COLIN

Colin was born in the Dudley ‘West Midlands’ known for their down to earth ways.

A lot of well known performers have come from the West Midlands such as Noddy Holder, Lenny Henry etc. At 16 Colin was hooked by magic, performing it all over Wolverhampton, and local areas, at 17 performed his first gig at he Mount hotel, Wolverhampton.

Whilst performing magic at the weekend, Colin worked with people with mental health problems, for a while then worked at Wolverhampton college with students with special needs, he loved this as it gave him a different outlook on life. He also helped with a drama workshop , Using this chance to help people he realised his real desire was to make people happy through laughter and worked as a professional entertainer at 21.

Since then he has performed for the head of police, celebrities, the mayor of Birmingham, Sky television, wedding, hotels, manor houses and theatres. Although he loves close-up magic, he also wanted to learn the art of stand-up comedy with magic, and the art of standing in front of a large audience and entertain them. So he worked in Cornwall and Devon as an entertainment manager for 3 summers , and learned the hard way, how to entertain an audience, comparing, children’s entertainment and performing a comedy magic show twice a week.

Through Colin’s imagination, improvisation skills, and natural comedy Colin was nominated as one of the best entertainers 0f 2005, 2006, 2008 working at John Fowler holiday’s and was chosen to work at ‘winners week’ alongside a handful of the best at Trelawne manor, and St Ives holiday park. Check out testimonials. Colin used this time to form his comedy magic cabaret act. His show holds no bad language, and is constructed to suit a family audiences. He is fantastic with children and can hold an audience. With his experience at the college he uses his sensitive personality to entertain to the maximum.
